I've seen a couple other blogs where they have posted these Q & A for the past year, so I thought I would give it a try. I guess there is really no right or wrong way to answer them So here goes:
1. What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?
Oh God, I already don't think I can do this...
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Every year for me is a new year resolution FAIL. And yes, I will continue to make more for this year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, my dear college friend Tricia had a sweet baby Grace.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank God.
5. What countries did you visit?
None, though flying back and forth to the East Coast for different Holidays and the Summer felt like we had travelled overseas. However, we did visit at least 5 different countries at Epcot :)
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
Acceptance and patience.
7. What dates from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The very beginning of 2011, being at Disney World, celebrating Coltrane's 1st birthday and seeing the wonder/awe/disbelief/belief in Kingston's eyes at the whole experience.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
This is a tough one, I'm not sure. Is that sad?
9. What was your biggest failure?
Lack of patience, lack of ME time.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Migraines have become regular :(
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My camera.
12. Where did most of your money go?
Kids :)
13. What did you get really excited about?
Kyle and I NEVER get to "go out" and do things with just us or with friends. A lot of it is our fault, but with his work schedule it just isn't as feasible as most couples with "normal" jobs. This year, on our 3rd wedding anniversary, my Mom got us tickets to see Ryan Bingham (one of our and maybe my all time favorite) out at Josabi's which is SUCH a Texan outdoor venue out in Helotes, and we had the best time.
14. What song will always remind you of 2011?
Oh God, I could list a million and a half songs but the ones that jump out right away (and that I could possibly come back and change and re-type) are Despicable Me by Pharell for the boys. Hallelujah and Dylan's Hard Rain by Ryan Bingham for summer BBQ's in our backyard and Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros for the year :) Anything by Mumford & Sons and Adele.
15. Compared to this time last year, are you:
– happier or sadder? Happier.
– thinner or fatter? Fatter, hmmm, maybe I should change the above answer
– richer or poorer? Richer. In many different ways.

16. What do you wish you’d done more of?
I wish I would have paid more attention to my needs. More time with Kyle without the kids. More time for friends. Read more.
17. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Worrying, wallowing, stressing, facebooking.
18. How did you spend Christmas?
We spent Christmas in Naples at my parents and then went to Disney World. Not. Too. Shabby.
19. What was your favorite TV program?
Top Chef, Boardwalk Empire and bc we are parents of a 2 and 4 year old and Kyle has an insane work schedule...Weeds, Eastbound and Down and the big one...24, yes we are a bit behind the times, ONLY in the TV programming ;)

How depressing, I can't even remember. Kyle was out of town, I can't for the life of me remember :(
24. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Family and friends moving down here and winning the lottery :)
25. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
HA--hahaha. We're lucky if I get out of my jammies more than 3 days a week ;) I was digging the feathers though.
26. What kept you sane?
Laughter, prayers and wine.
27. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
